Cherry Siu-Ho
Pixie & Stone
Cherry has a uniquely diverse skillset from her varied interests and experiences across senior management roles in corporate environments, as a legal & governance adviser, a small business owner, a director of a start-up, and government lawyer.
Cherry commenced her career as a tax adviser with PriceWaterhouseCoopers before moving into commercial law, working as an in-house lawyer with Macquarie Bank, and advising on consumer law with Canon Australia. She then moved into the university sector, working on research grants for UTS and becoming the General Counsel for the University of Wollongong at the age of 31, managing a legal team. She later became the Director of Governance and Legal for the University of Wollongong.
During the pandemic, she moved away from her corporate career and opened a local business in Picton – Pixie & Stone clothing boutique. She also started her own sole practitioner law firm, JarvisBlue Legal, servicing university and small business sectors, and part-owned a green technology start-up company solving issues of critical mineral supply. She is now a government lawyer with SafeWork NSW advising on contracts and disputes.
Cherry has a passion for adult education and is working with Macarthur Community College to bring more courses and training to Wollondilly. Cherry is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds legal qualifications and an Executive MBA.
She is a proud member of Wollondilly Women in Business.
