International Women’s Day 2026: Women Contributing to Our Community – Past & Present

Each year, Wollondilly Women in Business brings together the heart of our community to celebrate, honour, and connect through our International Women’s Day celebration, a night of inspiration, music, and meaning.

In 2026, we’re celebrating “Women Contributing to Our Community, Past & Present,” recognising the incredible women whose leadership, resilience, and heart have shaped Wollondilly and continue to pave the way for future generations.

This year’s event features special guest speaker Deborah Hutton, beloved Australian television presenter, magazine editor, author, and advocate for women’s wellbeing and confidence. Deborah’s journey is one of courage, reinvention, and authenticity, a story that continues to inspire women across Australia to live with purpose and grace.

To bring the night to life, we’ll be joined by Wonderbrass, a powerhouse nine-piece band made up of some of Sydney’s finest singers and musicians. Known for their infectious energy and vibrant stage presence, Wonderbrass create the ultimate party atmosphere, so bring your dancing shoes!

Our Guest Speaker: Deborah Hutton

This year, we’re honoured to welcome Deborah Hutton, an Australian icon whose career spans television, publishing, and business, and whose courage has inspired countless women to live with purpose and authenticity.

Deborah’s journey is one of reinvention. From gracing magazine covers to leading media networks, and from building her own homewares brand to advocating for skin cancer awareness after her own diagnosis, she has navigated public life with honesty, grace, and resilience.

“It’s never too late to design the life you truly want, to start again, to change direction, to follow what feels true.”
— Deborah Hutton

In her keynote address, Deborah will share her reflections on what it means to evolve fearlessly, to rise through change, to lead with heart, and to define success on your own terms. Her story reminds us that true strength lies not in perfection, but in the courage to begin again.

Prepare to be moved, motivated, and reminded of the power of women who lift each other up.
